About
I've spent years in the construction industry as a subject matter expert — estimating, project management, and the kind of problem-solving that happens when steel meets schedule. The whole time, I was living a double life as a computer nerd.
That double life recently became my actual life. I'm now a senior data engineer, building pipelines, infrastructure, and tooling. The construction background didn't go away — it gave me an unusual perspective on systems, processes, and what it means to build something that has to work in the real world.
Outside of work, I run a homelab that's gotten a bit out of hand (in the best way), and I'm always tinkering with something new.
